The trick to perfecting a good cat-eye is to use Pat MacGrath’s liquid Eyeliner. You’ll want to start at the bottom from the inner corner of your eye and go up using the eyeliner pen. The pen is already pointed and angles so you can draw in your cat-eye look as subtle or as bold as you like by bringing it in a little to the outer edges of your eye. A tip from our Pro Erica is to use it at an angle to achieve the perfect soft, subtle feline flick. Want to add a little *drama*? Turn up the heat with some lashes to achieve a more glamorous look. CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE HOW-TO.
Go with a more satin, cream finish to get that natural glow using Kosas blush and highlighter duo. A little goes a long way, and all you need to apply is a small amount on 5 key places of your face: your brow bone, inner corner of your eye, the tip of your nose, down the bridge of your nose, and a little bit on the cupid’s bow. Voila! A natural radiant look. CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE HOW-TO.
When it comes to creating the perfect brow, Erica recommends using the Glossier Brow Flick to give you that full, fluffy yet natural brow look. An easy tip to help shape your eyebrows is by using a pen or even your brush to check the three points of your brows. 1) The start of your brow is where you will determine how thick they should be, 2) the arch is how high your eyebrow should look and 3) the end is how long you should shape them to. Erica’s Pro tip is to remember your eyebrows are sisters, not twins, they are unique and so it’s okay if they are not perfectly even. CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE HOW-TO.
It’s a makeup sponge. How hard can it be to use? Quite, apparently. Beauty blenders are a top-selling tool for easy application, however, makeup artists frequently see beauty blenders being used the wrong way. Erica has shared that the trick to using a beauty blender is first to damp the sponge. A damp sponge makes product application way easier. The product goes on more smoothly and results in an even, streak-free finish. Her second tip is to use a dabbing motion rather than swiping the sponge across your face. CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE HOW-TO.
