Create a Song Demo Using Pre-existing Beats

CRAFT

In this class, Musician and Songwriter Sonny Remlinger teaches you how to create a song using preexisting beats. Using the Reaper Digital Audio Workstation, you'll start by creating a new track before adding and matching additional beats to create your song. Don't worry if you don't have too much experience in the studio. Sonny takes you through each of the five steps thoroughly adding quick tips here and there that will help you perfect your track. To complete this class, you'll need the instruments you've chosen to create your beats, the Mogami instrument cables, a microphone, the Reaper Digital Audio Workstation, and the Focusrite Scarlett Recording Interface.

Sonny Remlinger is a Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and landscape designer. Associated acts include Bones Owens, Christina Castle, Warner Drive, and Super Black Market, among other collaborators.
