"Jill Fogel is a Los Angeles-based makeup, hair, and special effects artist. A versatile and passionate creative, Jill’s vast experience in the industry spans over twenty years and ranges from editorial to beauty, to film and television, to SFX and prosthetics work. The seeds for Jill’s career were planted doing makeup for friends, bands, and photoshoots in her teenage years, and progressed to working at beauty counters for well-known brands like Benefit, Dior, and NARS. After freelancing with LORAC, Smashbox, and Chantecaille and doing makeup for various events and media productions in Phoenix, Jill moved to LA and made a name for herself on the West Coast. She’s created looks for celebrity clients like Lana Del Rey, Denise Richards, and Tyler the Creator, worked on shoots for major networks and companies, and has lent her considerable skills to music videos, television productions, and films, including doing the makeup, SFX, prosthetics, and vampire teeth for the award-winning picture A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night.
