Not a game that was actually released this year, but, if I'm gonna be honest, Bloodborne has been my "game of the year" almost every year since it came out.
The online community is still alive and kicking, which, while not critical to the gameplay, does add to the experience.
This version includes The Old Hunters DLC, which is one of the greatest examples of DLC done right that I've ever seen.
Remember, a hunter is never alone and may the good blood guide your way.
