 tools to use for
 self-care and recovery is the hyper ice
 hyper sphere mini so this one is just
 releases a smaller version of the
 hypersphere
 it&amp;#39;s also rechargeable it&amp;#39;s very very
 friendly it just charges
 via usb port a micro usb port here on
 the side
 and it allows you to really travel with
 it quite well
 what i found that some of the best
 places to use it is actually in the bed
 and i don&amp;#39;t mean that in a sexual way at
 all but it&amp;#39;s nice to have a soft surface
 underneath the body part of what you&amp;#39;re
 going to use it on so
 it allows us to not apply too much
 pressure and you can adjust
 around as you&amp;#39;re sitting in the comfort
 of your own home
 or on a couch or whatever the case might
 be now it has three different settings
 and which are indicated by the lights
 that are here on the ball so as soon as
 i turn it on
 that&amp;#39;s one and it goes two higher so
 the third one is quite intense but again
 you still get to regulate or choose
 how much pressure you&amp;#39;re going to apply
 so whether you&amp;#39;re using it upper body
 lower body i personally actually like to
 use it
 on my glutes as i&amp;#39;m sitting down so i&amp;#39;ll
 find a spot
 that&amp;#39;s a little tight or a little sore
 maybe and i will pick that spot
 rest it there and then move my joint
 move my limb around
 as it applies pressure to that joint
 it&amp;#39;s a step above carrying around
 a lacrosse ball or a softball that you
 might use to be able to do the same
 thing
 plus you get the ability to actually get
 that massage in effect because it
 vibrates too so

 this product takes foam rolling to the
 next level this is the
 hyper sphere by hyper ice and it is a
 ball about the size of a softball and it
 vibrates
 you have setting one two
 or three all right so you could play
 with that intensity
 but the reason the ball is a little bit
 different than a foam roller
 a foam roller is going to be more of a
 broad contact so it&amp;#39;s going to roll like
 this whereas this
 kind of pinpoint so you can really fine
 tune your self mobility tissue work all
 right
 rather than rolling across the broad
 part it&amp;#39;s actually going to go more
 localized into
 specific points you want to work on your
 body i really like the hypersphere for
 my hips i can i kind of put it under the
 hip and the glute and then i can add
 some movements
 the vibration is a nice added feature
 because as it vibrates
 it helps calm down some of those tissues
 that are really gripping and holding on
 tight so the vibration adds an extra
 layer to your foam rolling in your
 mobility practice if i roll on this
 after i work out it helps prevent a lot
 of my muscle soreness so especially my
 hips
 if i do a lot of squats deadlifts
 anything like that or a lot of running
 i find that my hips may feel some kind
 of tension and tightness in there so if
 i spend
 five or ten minutes later that day or
 evening rolling out my hips my
 hamstrings my calves my feet
 it really helps flush out the tissues
 and helps me feel better i&amp;#39;ve been using
 this for about five years
 and it&amp;#39;s lasted great it&amp;#39;s been dropped
 a few times and still holding on i would
 recommend this one for someone who&amp;#39;s
 more experienced with their
 foam rolling and their mobility
 exercises but also wants to get some
 relief in their hips
 shoulders back calves feet everything
 like that this product&amp;#39;s great for
 people
 living active lifestyle because you can
 throw it in your bag it can always be
 handy sometimes a roller can be
 bulky either that long or this long or
 anything like that it&amp;#39;s harder to
 transport
 it helps prevent any of that muscle
 soreness that may have the next day
 and since there is vibration with it
 also helps flush out that lactic acid
 which can build up in the legs from long
 exercise and it helps flush that get it
 moving
