 program one of my favorite teachers
 recommended this book anatomy of the
 spirit to me at first it was a little
 bit complex for me to read so I bought
 the book on tape and to this day I
 listen to the book on tape probably
 about every six months I pop it in and I
 reel issen just to get a better
 understanding of what the chakras are
 because she does a really good job of
 breaking them down in a way that I can
 really comprehend them and from there
 learning about the chakras I&amp;#39;m able to
 apply those to my classes and really
 teach students about the seven chakras
 Carol and mice does a really good job of
 going deeper but keeping it really
 simple so my yoga teacher training
 program I learned a lot about the
 chakras but it was more of just a
 general overview about each one
 whereas this book dives in a little bit
 deeper about your relationships with
 other people on how we have energy
 exchanges what the chakras mean and what
 it means when you&amp;#39;re at a balanced in
 one chakra and how it shows up in your
 physical body the seven chakras are
 energy centers in the body that are
 pulsating within you depending on what
 scenarios you&amp;#39;re in moment to moment
 that can shift when your chakras are not
 balanced any particular one for example
 maybe the heart chakra if you&amp;#39;re feeling
 a little bit closed off you might start
 rounding forward in your body when you
 go into social situations maybe you&amp;#39;re
 on your phone you&amp;#39;re closing yourself
 off emotionally she talks a lot about
 that in this book and applies it to the
 everyday life so if you&amp;#39;re blocked in a
 chakra you can tell by looking at
 someone&amp;#39;s physical body where they might
 have an imbalance if you&amp;#39;re imbalanced
 you want to work to balance that out so
 that you have energy flowing through
 your body freely as opposed to getting
 stuck this book is great for those who
 are looking to learn a little bit more
 about the chakra system it goes into
 greater detail she gives examples and
 she applies it to your everyday life
 this book helped me be able to read
 people&amp;#39;s bodies energetically by being
 able to see how they hold themselves
 and it was easier for me after reading
 this to see where other people might be
 blocked just by the words they use how
 they hold their body how they interact
 in this world and just gave me a little
 bit more of an intuitive one up to be
 able to see what&amp;#39;s going on with another
 person
