 introduced to the neti pot by my doctor
 he said to keep the nasal passage really
 clean and also to help you breathe so I
 started doing this about twice a day
 after my surgery and I saw great
 improvements any time that I start to
 get allergies or I start to get
 congested I go straight to this twice a
 day morning and night and you want to
 make sure and use distilled water you do
 not want to use tap water not even
 filtered water make sure it&amp;#39;s distilled
 so there&amp;#39;s no bacteria in the water then
 you take the salts specific type of
 salts you pour it in there 8 ounces you
 shake it up and then you lean over put
 it in one nostril and you&amp;#39;ll relax your
 jaw so that it comes out the other
 nostril so what is doing is irrigating
 your nasal passage I didn&amp;#39;t even like
 sinus sprays so when my doctor told me
 to put this at my nose and put pressure
 with the water I was a little bit
 nervous but once I relaxed my jaw and my
 face took a breath out and allowed it to
 flow from one nasal to the other then it
 was a little bit easier so there&amp;#39;s
 different types of neti pots and they
 have the little ones that are like a tea
 pot you can put it in your nose and
 allow that to drain but that doesn&amp;#39;t
 really work super well for me because
 I&amp;#39;m oftentimes congested so this one is
 nice because it gives a little bit of
 pressure when you squeeze the bottle
 this particular brand was recommended by
 my doctor Neal med and I really really
 liked it also the salt that goes with it
 because you cannot just use regular salt
 there&amp;#39;s a specific ratio that you need
 to use so using the packets helps me so
 that I don&amp;#39;t confuse it
