 because they are not only super super
 light but they are precise because they
 are heat treated they&amp;#39;re gonna stay
 sharper than any knives for five times
 the amount you do not have to sharpen
 these it will take you probably up to
 five years before you ever have to
 actually sharpen this play because it is
 heat treated so this is a nine piece
 knife roll set and it comes with
 actually eight different knives the
 ninth piece is actually the cool bag
 that you can store all your knives in
 but let me run through it really quickly
 if you don&amp;#39;t know what a complete knife
 set looks like here&amp;#39;s what it looks like
 first and foremost it&amp;#39;s the chef&amp;#39;s knife
 right this is a chef&amp;#39;s knife it comes
 usually in two sizes a good knife set
 was gonna usually give you two different
 chef&amp;#39;s knives
 I always prefer this smaller because I
 have a small palm and you really should
 if you have a small palm use a small
 chef&amp;#39;s knife this is a larger this is
 about eight inches whereas this is six
 inches or so and it has these really
 cool air pockets okay this is why I
 prefer this knife over any of the others
 this is great because anything that you
 slice like a potato or a beet or a piece
 of cabbage or a piece of cheese because
 these air pockets are fear the food will
 actually just fall right off the knife
 it won&amp;#39;t get too stuck now the other
 night
 in the night roll or of course the
 carving-knife and yes you can see
 there&amp;#39;s air pockets here as well perfect
 for slicing meats and things like that
 right
 Thanksgiving Day you might want that one
 you also need your serrated knife this
 is great for cheese and bread of course
 things with a nice heavy crust you
 definitely need some sort of kitchen
 shears this is great because you can
 debone any bones right here chicken
 necks or things like that and you can
 sniff garden herbs and things like that
 it&amp;#39;s really great these are dishwasher
 safe of course your paring knife for
 small things that you can do around the
 kitchen and your boning knife take a
 look at this this is a traditional
 boning knife you can tell because it&amp;#39;s
 bowed and you can tell because the blade
 actually moves whereas the others do not
 this is so that you can get every piece
 of meat around a piece of bone without
 wasting a thing now finally to keep
 these nice and sharp
 you want your honing steel now this is
 not sharpen the knife itself all it
 actually does is it straightens the
 blade when it&amp;#39;s dull all it is is that
 the knife blade itself is rigid this
 honing steel is going to make it
 straight and then you will have a really
 precise cut each and every time
