Alex started her career in musical theater, performing regionally and around NYC at venues like 54 Below, the Laurie Beechman Theater, and Jazz At Lincoln Center. She soon after branched out into work in commercials and print ads for brands like Hulu, Summersalt, Lancôme, and Amazon, also appearing in a fashion segment on The TODAY Show. Alex has also found success as a fit model for well-known brands and designers like Zac Posen and Uniqlo. As a voiceover actress, she was recently featured in the hit Apple TV show ‘Severance.” In addition to her time in front of the camera and on the stage, she has also enjoyed creative work behind the scenes as a stylist and as a makeup artist, which has given her a deeper knowledge of beauty and design that she carries into all of her creative endeavors. Her biggest passions are women's health awareness, clean beauty, size-inclusive fashion, and where art meets social justice. 

Alex is also the host of the women's health and beauty podcast "Glow Up And Speak Out",  which features interviews with knowledgeable experts about often-ignored or misdiagnosed women's health issues (like fibroids, PCOS, and pelvic floor health) and the laws that control women's healthcare access - while also sharing the scoop on the latest products in clean skincare and makeup, and the newest trends in wellness and treatments (think lasers, V-steams, lymphatic drainage massages, and more). Gideon Akande is a nationally recognized elite fitness coach, consultant, and brand partner. An excellent communicator, industry leader, and lifelong learner, Gideon recently added marathon running to his fitness resume. He also works with companies to curate local experiences and wellness events and is an ambassador for the Illinois Special Olympics. Gideon is the proud father of two young children.
