Alice Ford host is an award-winning adventure travel expert, author, environmental advocate, and executive producer. With a career rooted in conservation, Alice has spent years exploring and sharing the world's natural wonders and cultural richness. Her first TV series, Alice’s Adventures on Earth, which airs on PBS stations combined her love for nature, storytelling, and adventure, as she documents sustainable tourism, indigenous cultures, and environmental conservation.
An adrenaline-fueled explorer, Alice has journeyed solo across the globe, hiking towering mountains, swimming with sharks, skydiving, and rappelling down cliff faces. Her survival skills and wilderness expertise are well-tested as she often spends time entirely off-grid, immersing herself in nature through hiking, climbing, and other high-adrenaline pursuits. Her commitment to conservation isn’t just professional; it’s personal, shaped by her upbringing in New Hampshire's White Mountains, where she learned about ecology, plants, and forestry. Alice’s academic journey earned her a Master’s in Environmental Management in which she focused on water and waste management, rewilding, and urban planning, providing a strong foundation for her later work in conservation and sustainable travel.
Her diverse career in film and television began with stunt work on blockbuster films like Transformers and Spiderman, leading her to earn Taurus Award nominations. But it was her dedication to conservation that led her to create Alice’s Adventures, an award-winning YouTube channel garnering 8 Telly Awards. Through this platform, Alice shares sustainable travel itineraries, conservation insights, and outdoor adventures, aiming to inspire her audience to protect the planet.
Alice’s work extends beyond the screen. In 2016, she launched TravGanic, an ecotourism platform featuring sustainable hotels and tours that benefit local communities. This venture positioned her as a Global Expert on sustainability and propelled her further into the eco-conscious travel industry. She continues to make an impact through her writing and recently released her first book, 10 Steps to Happiness, in 2024. With any of Alice’s ventures, be it tv shows or eco-travel agencies, Alice’s goal is to ignite a love for nature and a commitment to sustainability in viewers of all ages. Looking to the future, Alice aspires to be remembered alongside conservation icons like David Attenborough and Jane Goodall—champions of the planet whose legacies inspire generations to come.
She is a highly skilled videographer, AV tech, drone pilot, and DP to add to her long list of talents and is always ready for new projects that inspire others.
