Dr. Carly Fox obtained her undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. She then attended veterinary school at Ross University and Cornell University. Carly completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at the Animal Medical Center. Following her post doctorate training, she joined the AMC full time in the Emergency and Critical Care Department. She is proud to work in one of the busiest veterinary emergency rooms in the world for the past 15 years. Carly has a special interest in trauma, emergency procedures, and toxicities. She enjoys training veterinary interns in the ER/ICU and was awarded AMC’s annual Clendenin J Ryan Memorial Teaching Award. Carly has been featured in hundreds of articles as a veterinary expert, including The Washington Post, The NYT and various online publications. She lectures regularly as well. Carly is a native New Yorker and lives in Manhattan with her husband Jordan, son Miller, daughter Penn, and French Bulldog Leonard. The Fox Family loves traveling, visiting museums and the NYC restaurant scene. Dr. Fox is lucky to live and work in the city she loves.
