Caroline Barrick

Caroline Barrick is a landscape architect with over a decade of experience in the high end residential design industry for landscape architecture. Caroline spent her early years of her career designing in Athens, Atlanta, and Charleston, working with featured landscape architects on high profile projects. For the past ten years she has designed exterior spaces for residences in and around the Greenville, SC area, ranging from lake Keowee to the mountains of SC. Caroline meshes her love of plant material with a focused attention to detail and eye for outdoor materials to create cohesive outdoor spaces for clients to enjoy. Her design focus is high end master planning for single family residence. She plans the entire property, concepts of pools, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, walls, playspace, and spatial connections down to the minut details of hardscape materials and landscape planning (plant material). Caroline loves to sit down with her clients before designing to review all of their loves, needs, and dreams for their outdoor space before she hand sketches out concepts either on trace paper or on Morpholio trace (app). Once the hand concepts are complete, Caroline will draft the plans into CAD/Land FX, while using photoshop and adobe to create comp sheets and inspo boards for clients to have a visual aid while reviewing the plans. She has been inspired by years of travel and loves photographing new places to use as inspiration for designs. Caroline holds a BA in Landscape Architecture from the college of Environment and Design at the University of Georgia. She is licensed to practice in both South Carolina and Georgia.
