
Cass Wauben is a vocalist and soprano based in New York City, performing across musical theater, jazz, and classical repertoire. She recently made her Lincoln Center debut in the chorus of Jeanine Tesori's acclaimed opera "Blue," marking a significant milestone in her performance career.
A graduate of the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University, Cass studied voice under Randall Scarlata and was featured as a soloist in Peabody's Jazz Vocal Ensemble, led by Grammy-nominated vocalist Charenee Wade. Her additional training includes the Middlebury German For Singers Program and the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, giving her a strong foundation in both contemporary and classical vocal traditions.
Currently studying with vocal coach Joan Lader in New York, Cass brings genre versatility and a polished stage presence to every performance. She has a keen interest in microphones, lighting, recording gear, and home studio technology, making her a natural fit for audio and performance equipment reviews.
