
Chris Gilliland served as a Shift Supervisor with the Villa Park Fire Department in Illinois, where he lead emergency operations across two fire stations, overseeing multiple engine companies and paramedic units. With more than 30 years of experience as both a firefighter and paramedic—serving the communities of Villa Park and Oakbrook Terrace—he has responded to a wide range of complex fire and medical emergencies.
In addition to his supervisory responsibilities, Gilliland also serves as an Arson Investigator, applying specialized expertise to determine fire origin and cause, support legal proceedings, and enhance fire prevention efforts within the community.
Throughout his career, Gilliland has advanced from frontline roles as a Firefighter and Paramedic to a leadership position responsible for coordinating multi-unit responses and ensuring effective incident management. His extensive field experience, investigative knowledge, and proven leadership reflect a strong command of high-pressure emergency operations and a deep commitment to public safety.
