
Daniella Malfitano is a passionate health advocate, chef, activist, and producer. Over an 18-year career that includes media production, certified health coaching, and plant-based nutrition counseling, she is changing lives through the power of the plate.
Launching her career as the host of PBS farm-to-table TV series Delicious Discoveries, Daniella also served as a producer and host with CBS, NBC, Kaiser Permanente, The Food Network, and several local, public, and private companies. Hired by the Walt Disney Company as a seasonal programming consultant, she hosted The Disney California Adventures Food & Wine Festival. She also wrote, produced, and led engaging, health-focused live cooking shows in the park that spread her uplifting message of hope and faith through a new look at food.
Daniella is the creator of Plant-Based Made Easy, a series of live cooking and nutrition lessons with a 12-issue cookbook companion. She is a popular and inspiring influencer, educator, and industry leader on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
Daniella graduated from The French Culinary Institute and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is an honor graduate from DePaul University. She earned a Master of Religion and Public Life degree at Harvard Divinity School, where she founded The Vegan Theology, a visionary, global call-to-action. An enthusiastic collaborator and supporter, Daniella has served on the Board of Directors for the UCRiverside Design Thinking Executive Program, and as an activist with the California Avocado Commission and the California Blueberry Commission.
Daniella walks five miles daily, runs marathons, and loves soaking in nature. She also enjoys writing and creating music, poetry, and recipes.
