ERIK CURTIS is an American woodworker, YouTuber, and television personality. Having come up as a carpenter in the construction industry, Erik eventually studied at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Maine and now teaches at craft schools around the country. His various social media platforms focus on his woodworking practice–his dedicated following values his insights on the technical aspects of the craft as well as his deep dives into the design process. Inspired by this passion for health and wellness, he went to Georgia Southern University to earn a B.S. in Kinesiology, Major in Exercise Science. In 2010, he acquired his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Georgia State University. Upon graduation, he worked in an outpatient orthopedic PT clinic. His work at the clinic transformed into a traveling endeavor when he was hired as an onsite therapist to a professional men’s soccer team.
