Born and raised in East Los Angeles, Guillermo Tejeda has spent the past 15 years forging a dynamic career across music, education, and media. His work with industry giants like Telemundo, Univision, and CBS showcases his versatile talents. In response to the global pandemic, Guillermo founded The Neighborhood Orchestra, collaborating with renowned industry players like multi-platinum producer Kosine and Grammy Award winning producer, Josef Leimberg. His current project, "Lagos x LA," brings to life Fela Kuti's 1969 visit to Los Angeles and was featured as part of LA's Broadway Night Lights festival in 2024. An expert storyteller, Guillermo’s background in sociology and multimedia studies at Cal State Los Angeles influences his creative work, which spans various mediums. In his personal life, Guillermo is a father of three and an enthusiast of all things nature, cooking, and art, particularly murals. He continues to find balance between his passion for storytelling and his role as an educator.
