With nearly two decades in cosmetology, Laura M. Bedenfield has transformed her passion for hairstyling into a successful career as a salon owner and licensed instructor. Inspired by her family’s background in hairstyling and barbering, Laura began her journey early, enrolling in cosmetology school during high school and graduating before completing her diploma. Recently certified as an instructor, she plans to further her education with an associate's degree, enhancing her ability to mentor and teach. Specializing in hair extensions and color blending, Laura is dedicated to helping clients feel confident and beautiful. As a salon owner for 15 years, she not only serves her clients but also supports the growth of new graduates, offering them guidance as they launch their careers. Her future aspirations include offering classes to fellow stylists, where she’ll share her expertise in technique and client care, aiming to inspire others to boost clients' self-esteem through their work. Outside of her professional life, Laura balances her commitments with family, cooking, and travel. An active participant in her community, she finds joy in her work and seeks to continually evolve within the industry, all while making a positive impact on those around her.
