Nakeya is an events and sales expert who has been in these industries since 2016. She got her start at Kola Restaurant and Ultra Lounge, helping to engage and excite the community about Nigerian food, music, and culture. She eventually made her way back to her hometown Chicago, where she worked to serve and promote events in nightlife venues and restaurants like Underground, Masq, The Duplex, Revolver, and Tribe Supper Club. In her free time, she loves to roller skate at Fleetwood Roller Rink in Summit IL, and go for long walks with her Staffordshire Terrier, Gigi. 

Nakeya also has a Master's degree in PR and Advertising.
