Dr. Sarah Cortright – Veterinarian, Educator, and Advocate
Dr. Sarah Cortright is a dedicated veterinarian with a lifelong passion for animal care that began on a farm, where she grew up surrounded by animals of all kinds. From an early age, she witnessed firsthand the deep bond between humans and their pets, sparking a desire to provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to those who need it most.
Now a relief general practitioner in Southern California, Dr. Sarah brings her expertise to clinics throughout the region, offering exceptional care while also educating pet parents on responsible pet ownership, preventative medicine, and overall animal well-being. She extends her outreach beyond the exam room through her social media presence, where she shares expert veterinary advice with an engaged audience of over 80,000 followers across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Sarah serves as the Medical Director of Underdog Community Project, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free veterinary services to the pets of individuals experiencing homelessness and financial hardship in Los Angeles. She is deeply committed to fear-free, accessible veterinary care and works tirelessly to ensure that pets receive the medical attention they deserve, regardless of their owner’s circumstances.
Through her work in both private practice and nonprofit service, Dr. Sarah is committed to bridging gaps in veterinary care, advocating for animal welfare, and empowering pet owners with the knowledge and resources they need to give their pets the best possible lives.
