Sarah is a magazine editor, writer, podcaster and consultant. After graduating from New York University, she started covering stationery as a market editor for the trade publication Gifts & Decorative Accessories in 1997. In 2008, she became founding editor of Stationery Trends, an award-winning, design-driven trade quarterly magazine devoted to all things paper.

In addition to maintaining her site The Paper Nerd, she podcasts at The Paper Fold, a five-star stationery salon that’s now part of the Evergreen Podcast Network. Sarah sometimes speaks at industry events, and is occasionally quoted in the media. Aside from family, she is happiest interacting with makers, stockists and paper nerds — with hopefully some happy mail exchanged somewhere in the process!

Gideon Akande is a nationally recognized elite fitness coach, consultant, and brand partner. An excellent communicator, industry leader, and lifelong learner, Gideon recently added marathon running to his fitness resume. He also works with companies to curate local experiences and wellness events and is an ambassador for the Illinois Special Olympics. Gideon is the proud father of two young children.
