Tom Stefanucci is a Buffalo-based craftsman and lifelong educator who splits his days between teaching physical education at North Tonawanda City Schools and running his passion project, Grayn LLC. A 23-year veteran teacher with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Physical Education from Canisius College, Tom honed teamwork and perseverance on the field—skills that now guide his precision in the workshop. Entirely self-taught through “trial and error,” he transformed weekend home-improvement projects into a full-service carpentry studio specializing in hardwood flooring, custom cabinetry, and statement accent walls. Over the past decade he has floored countless homes, built cabinets from scratch for local businesses, designed bespoke wooden beams, and completed a full barber-shop build-out featuring custom pull-out sinks. Whether crafting a one-of-a-kind piece or re-imagining an entire room, Tom’s motivation comes from witnessing the dramatic before-and-after of each project and the joy it brings clients. When he’s not in the classroom or the woodshop, you’ll find him hiking, swimming, or cheering on football and soccer with his wife, Rebecca, and their children, Dominic and Olivia.
